The Mars
Science Laboratory

The Mars Science Laboratory is an advanced Mars rover that will be sent to Mars in the very near future. This website is dedicated to explaining the three main parts of what makes the MSL so special.

The MSL is breaking new ground in three categories:
-The advanced technology of the unit itself
-The precise landing procedure
-The MSL's special mission on Mars

Each of these three topics are linked to on your left, along with a brief introduction and conclusion.

Be sure to also check out the overview section for a quick outline of the basics as well as an image galley and video links.

Also, since web formatting and characters may show up differently on different computers, be sure to click the "Download PDF" button, also to your left. This will allow you to download PDF files of the original documents and read them at your leisure.
